Taking Notes on Lessons

Did you know that you can take notes on video lessons on CG Cookie?  This is a great assist to revisiting a concept or skill you want to remember or refresh yourself on in the future.  Now, instead of having to review thousands of hours of video to find what you are looking for, you can make a note at a time-stamped moment in a lesson video to find exactly what you want to review for and skip right to that place in the lesson.

You will find the notes section in the header above the video lesson.

Clicking on the Notes icon will open a note pad which allows you to scribble some notes and also provides a checkbox to include the timestamp in the lesson video so your note will direct to that very moment in the lesson that you might like to come back to.  

PRO TIP: if you are including the timestamp, be sure to pause your video, make the note, click the timestamp box and save before restarting the lesson.  Bonus with this plan is you don't accidentally miss a brilliant nugget while you are noting another.

Once your note is saved, you will see it above your lesson video and can revisit it at any time, edit or delete your note, or continue to add more notes to this lesson.
